THE EXPRESS TOUR

For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. PSALM 139:13, NKJV

One of the world’s largest museums is in Paris, France, called The Louvre. Every time I’ve visited it, I’ve been overwhelmed at its size—it is enormous! It goes on and on for blocks. There are around three hundred fifty thousand objects exhibited and room upon room of endless works of art to see. Experts say you could spend weeks in there looking at everything. I’m a fan of art, but the last couple of times I went, I decided to try a different approach to visiting the museum. The problem is that when I go, I only have a day or two to see a bunch of things in Paris, so I typically do a little research and spend one hour at the museum.

I know that doesn’t sound like much, and it’s not—especially for such a fantastic museum as The Louvre. Nevertheless, the last time I was there, I went online and did some research and found out about three or four awesome pieces of art and sculpture I wanted to see. I went to the museum, bought my ticket, and with a museum map in hand, I went directly to the various parts of the museum to the see the works of art I had selected. They were well-known pieces you may have heard of: the Mona Lisa, by Leonardo Da Vinci; Venus De Milo; and Winged Victory.

When I left, I thought I would be a little disappointed that I was in such an amazing museum and had only seen a few things, but I discovered that by doing the tour that way, I appreciated those few pieces even more, Now those pieces of art have an extra special place in my heart because I spent the time enjoying each one individually.

The same GOD loves each one of us individually. We simply can’t Imagine how GOD could individually love billions of people, but He can and He does He knows us inside and out!
