IN WHICH BOOK IS THE WORD UNANIMOUS USED THE MOST?

Underline the correct answer

a. Hebrews

b. Acts

c. Romans

Do you know what being unanimous means?

It’s a word that comes from Greek and means “having the same mind,” which means thinking the same way, or with the same purpose.

The word is used many times in the book of Acts of the Apostles. The story of Jesus’s first followers after His ascension is explained in that book.

The book’s author was a doctor named Luke. He says they were all unanimous because they had become one.

They were all united and did everything together. They prayed together, ate together and shared what they had with each other.

That’s how the first Christian church members were. Their love for Jesus made them not be selfish, but think about others.

That’s why they received the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost to fulfill the Great Commission so the whole world would know Jesus.

Even though there were few of them, from that moment on, the church didn’t stop growing and growing all over the world.

Do you know how many Christians there are in the world now? More than two billion.

You’re a Christian because those twelve disciples were able to give the good news of the gospel to others, and those others to many others throughout history.                                                       ‘

Jesus wants you and everyone living in this world to have the chance to know God and decide to belong to His family.

God’s family meets at church. Do you like going to church and sharing about Jesus with your friends?

In your Prayer Journal write what your church can do to be unanimous like the first believers in Acts.
