Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests» (Luke 2:14).

Oh, he tried . . . and tried . . . and tried. But each time Jesus would throw Bible texts at him like a warrior hurls a lance. Like it or not, Jesus became a living, breathing reminder to Satan that his days were numbered, that his destructive reign would some-day end. And that end wouldn’t be pretty.
Listen to this beautiful invitation to become a member of God’s family written by a junior who is very glad Jesus came to earth to show us the way to heaven:
Just like a newborn baby cradled in its mother’s arms,
God wants to make you new again, and keep you safe from harm.
«You must be born again,» He said. And if that’s what you choose,
You must want it with all your heart. If so, you cannot lose!
You’re wanting to be baptized? What does that really mean?
You’re going underwater; saying yes to things unseen.
Peace and love come over you; a love for all mankind.
A peace that only God can bring. Eternity is mine!
