BE PREPARED 

Here’s an insightful verse written by a junior in faraway Alaska, where cold winds blow and storms sometimes roll across the land. But she has learned that God is there too, waiting to willingly heal any hurting heart. Listen:

• The Lord will come to save us all.
• He’ll take us in His arms.
• Satan’s reign will finally fall.
• He’ll lose his corrupting charms.
• The world will burn in cleansing glory.
• I hope you’ll learn from this sad story.
• A man who won the lottery
• Went home with pride and joy.
• But his house, deco’d in pottery,
•  And his baby were destroyed.
•  His tension grew. He got annoyed.
•  His head soon filled with fury.
•  Even though he cashed the check he’d won,
•  He spent his life in worry.
•  The moral here is be prepared!
•  For what you fear will make you scared
•  Of living life, of loving God.
•  But through the strife and through the fraud
•  The Lord is there. Just trust in Him.
•  He’s there to care when things go wrong.
