ANSWER ME

«Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice!  Have mercy also upon me, and answer me» (PSALM 27:7).

ESTRELLA FELT extremely sad. All her life she had dedicated her voice to the service of God, and now her heart languished at times as she realized the great difficulties, she experienced in being able to sing. Already more than one month had gone by since her throat had been affected by an allergy that did not give her any rest. In spite of this, she continued singing by faith so she would not fail the people to whom she had made a commitment. Time after time, God manifested Himself in her musical interventions. She felt it like real miracles in her life.

Very early one morning, Estrella had to go to a small place where more than fifty church members who were thirsty to hear the Word of God through song were waiting. However, while she was there, she felt that her voice was not ready to sing. Nevertheless, trusting filly in the power of God, Estrella went to the front, to the platform, and began to praise the Lord by faith through singing. Once again, God, who sees our sincere praise and receives it with satisfaction, performed a miracle. Estrella was able to sing and everyone present was able to praise the Lord together through music. Once more, it was demonstrated that «all things are possible to him who believes» (Mark 9:23).

Performing miracles is a specialty of our good God. That which with «men . . . is impossible, [is] not with God; for with God all things are possible» (Mark 10:27). He Himself tells us in His Word: «Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?’ (Jeremiah 32:27). The answer is a resounding «no»; there is nothing impossible for Him. From what is apparently most insignificant to the greatest thing we can imagine; all is possible for God if it is appropriate for our lives and the lives of people around us.

We have all the reasons in the world to trust in Him, calm in the knowledge that whether He performs a miracle or does not, it is for our good. He knows what is good for us and acts accordingly. Thus, do not be afraid; only believe, because if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you will be able to see great miracles in your life.
