Would you like to know who invented the first musical instrument? Well, the Bible has the answer: his name was Jubal.
Jubal was the inventor of the first musical instruments. Do you know what two instruments he invented? He invented the harp and flute.
Jubal was a descendant of Cain. His parents were called Lamech and Adah, and he also had two siblings. One was called Jabal and worked raising livestock farm animals), and the other brother was called Tubal-Cain, and he made tools of bronze and iron.
According to the Bible, Jubal and his brothers had many talents, but they did not use them to worship God, because nowhere does it say that they were faithful to God.
How sad it is the Jesus gives us talents and we don’t use them to praise Him!
What are your talents? It may be music, poetry, writing, painting…Remember that all your talents are a gift that Jesus gives you.
Think for a moment what talents Jesus has given you. Are you using them to worship Him and to make Him known to others?
Make a list of the talents you think Jesus has given you in your Prayer Journal and ask Him to help you use them to serve Him.
