a. He will dry them

Have you ever wondered where tears come from?
Just below your eyelids are the lacrimal glands, whose function is to produce tears.
Tears are made up of water, sodium chloride (salt, which is why they taste salty), and albumin (a protein that we also have in our blood).
The primary function of tears is to keep the eye clean and moist so that you can see well and to expel the dust or impurities that sometimes enter the eye from the wind.
Sometimes tears come spontaneously because we are close to irritating substances such as onions, certain gases, vapors, bright lights, or eating something very spicy.
These tears try to wash the eye and keep it healthy.
But there are other types of tears whose job is not to clean our eyes and keep them hydrated.
They are the ones we produce when we feel sad or when we laugh a lot.
Why do these tears come out? Apparently, their function is to make us feel better.
These tears contain hormones that act as a natural medicine, that is, they are produced to calm our fear, our anger, our sadness … or to de-stress when we laugh a lot.
Tears are a sign that the body is going back to normal after major sad or happy emotions— the muscles relax and the heart slows down.
God tells us in the last book of the Bible that He will dry our tears in the New Earth.
What kind of tears that we mentioned above will be the ones that God wipes away when Jesus returns?
Read today’s verse and remember that God always wants you to be happy.
Draw a tear in your Prayer Journal and copy today’s verse.
