Have you ever prepared a surprise for your mom or a friend?
Maybe you made a cake or bought a special gift. I’m sure you were anxiously waiting to deliver that gift that you had prepared with such enthusiasm.
God also likes surprises. For six days, the Creator prepared a great surprise for someone very special.
Do you know what gifts God prepared? He created the light, the sky, the clouds and the air, the plants, the trees, the sun, the moon, and the stars, the birds, the fish, and the land animals!
Do you know for whom He prepared all those gifts? For Adam and Eve.
The Creator gave them everything on this planet as a gift but asked them to take care of it and protect it.
God gave us human beings the mission of being stewards of the earth and of everything that God has given us: talents, money, time … and we must even take care of our bodies because we also belong to Jesus.
That’s what stewardship is about: taking care of everything that Jesus gives us, just as a good steward takes care of the home of his employer.
You’re a steward like Adam and Eve. Your Creator wants you to take care of all the things He gives you every day.
You must take care of your body, by eating well and not drinking harmful foods or drinks. You must develop the talents that He gives you.
You should make good use of what you have, your things and your money. And organize and take advantage of the time He gives you every day!
Jesus gives you everything you are and have. What can you give Him?
Sing a song, write a poem, ordo something that shows how much you love
Him . .. Think about it and write it in your Prayer Journal.
