Do you like to wash up?
You probably have a hard time obeying your dad or mom when they ask you to wash your hands before you eat, or brush your teeth before you go to sleep, right?
Even though you feel great after washing up, somehow, for some reason you don’t feel like obeying your parents.
Many Bible verses talk about the importance of being blameless, that is, clean or spotless. And being spotless not only means being clean on the outside, but also on the inside.
If we need to wash ourselves with soap and water to be clean on the outside, how can we be spotless inside?
That’s very easy, when you hurt a friend or disobey your parents or misbehave, and you feel guilty and dirty, don’t stay that way, but rather ask them for forgiveness and pray asking Jesus to clean your heart. Then Jesus will forgive you and you’ll be spotless, and you’ll feel much better and happier than when you take a bath.
Why not give it a try? Think about the things you’ve done wrong that make you feel dirty.
Then write a prayer in your Prayer Journal asking Jesus to forgive you so you’ll feel happy and spotless.
