FUTURE SINNERS

Q: How did God know before Adam and Eve were born that they were going to sin?

A: God knows everything. Somehow He can peek into the e future. How? I haven’t a clue. But don’t forget some of the other things God knew before Adam and Eve were born—things terrifying and sad. The Father saw His precious Son suffering from hunger and loneliness on earth. He watched Him ridiculed and rejected, tormented and hurt. And imagine the horror He felt as visions of Christ’s death filled His perfect, sinless mind.  Yet knowing what He did, He went ahead and created Adam and Eve anyway. Why? Because He wanted you to live with Him forever in heaven. That’s right. The same powerful eyes that could see what sin would do also witnessed what the plan of salvation was capable of. And by peering just a little further into the future, God saw you and me running up to Him in heaven to thank Him for allowing us the opportunity to live forever.

«For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life» (John 3:16, KJV).  God knew before we were born that we were going to sin. But He also knew how lonely He’d feel without us in His kingdom. So here we are, struggling with this old world because God peeked into the future and saw how happy we’d be living with Him in heaven.
