“Go, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart;
For God has already accepted your works»
(Ecclesiastes 9:7).
DISAPPOINTMENTS in life are unavoidable in this world that has been corrupted by disobeying God. “However, God’s daughters have lots of reasons to enjoy life. Star your day by thinking about the following reasons:
1. Life itself is a marvelous gift, even if it’s sometimes threatened and broken-down disease.
2. The place where we were born and our family are things that we can‹ change, but they can be enjoyed in spite of how unfortunate it may seem to us.
3. God is good and grants us good gifts, even if some of them come in the form of a package that we have to unwrap to It would be interesting for us to endeavor to see the heavenly Fathers generous hand in every situation.
4. The delicious flavor of food is enjoyed when eaten peacefully with people we love and who love us.
5. Pleasant sleep isn’t only enjoyed in a luxurious hotels presidential suite; what’s more, its attained on a simple bed in a home where family unity reigns.
6. Happy are not the ones who have more, but those who understand ‘ that God has given them what they have. They value it and thank Him for it.
Misery, hunger, deprivation and poverty begin with human ingratitude, which overlooks the fact that God is in control of the universe and possesses everything. The inability to enjoy life comes from ingratitude. Flee from it; learn to thank God every day. It’s a basic requirement to enjoy life.
Before you begin your activities this morning, stop, think for a moment and ask yourself how could you enjoy what you have and what you will do today. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights” (James 1:17).
