DON’T LOOK AT YOURSELF THROUGH OTHER PEOPLE’S EYES

“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become

Children of God, to those who believe in His name”

(John 1:12).

WHEN WE SEE ourselves through God’s eyes, our vision is perfect. Looking at Ourselves through other people’s eye believing the opinion they have of Us, isn’t safe; in fact, it’s a risk not worth  taking. Why play the distrustful game of comparisons and disparaging comments? Why base our behavior in trying to be liked by others, though we internally disagree with their criteria? Acting according to that premise is the surest way to feeling like grasshoppers facing giants, because there’s no way we’ll always agree with everyone. Christian women are interested in God’s criteria, clearly expressed in His Word.

The Creator was infinitely generous with His children: He granted us part of His nature when creating us in His image and likeness.

This means you have rights and responsibilities toward Him, yourself and others.
