Q: Is God black or white?
A: Would it make a difference to you if He was one or the 0 other? Think about it. And does it make any difference to Him whether you’re black or white?
Fact is, we don’t know what color God is, because we haven’t seen Him. No human being has.
Jesus was born into a Jewish family. Jews usually have lighter skin tones, but some are darker than others, depending on the ancestral line.
So, to the question «Is God black or white?» I’d have to answer, «Yes.» He’s also brown and pink and yellow and golden. God’s the color of all nations, all people, all boys and girls.
Consider this text: «And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws» (Ezekiel 36:27). It reminds me of the words to a song we’ve all sung many times. «Into my heart,» we harmonize, inviting Jesus to take up residence in our lives. In this simple tune, not only do we ask our Savior to come in «today,» we also request that He come to «stay.
“When you allow God to live in your heart, He becomes exactly the same color as you.
