Underline the correct answer

Have you ever counted how many times your parents prepared food for You?
Do you know how many times they’ve taken care of you when you were sick?
Do you keep track of how many times they do your Laundry and iron it? Parents and those who love us do those and many more things for us each day.
Even though it seems like doing those things is their obligation, I’ve gotta tell you that, even if they’re tired. there’s only one thing that drives them to do it.
Do you know what that is?
It’s Love.
Your parents and loved ones love you so much that they help you in everything you need.
The Bible says that Jesus came to serve.
But what is serving? Serving is meeting other people’s needs, but not because they give you something in exchange, but rather out of love, the way your parents serve you.
In ancient times, servants did all the housework, but the Bible says Jesus didn’t come to be served but to serve.
Jesus healed, taught and helped everyone who needed it. He even washed the disciples feet to teach them a lesson.
So you and I should follow His example and serve others out of love like He did, by helping our parents and others so everyone will get to know Jesus.
In your Prayer Journal, write down what you’re going to do to serve others the way Jesus did.
