Have you ever promised you Would do something and then didn’t do it?
Maybe you promised your mom to help her clean up your room or you promised your teacher you’d stop talking in Class.
Maybe you promised God you would pray when you woke up, but you’re so tired that you get up in a hurry and forget to talk With Him.
How many times have we promised someone something and then didn’t keep that promise!
Sometimes it’s hard to keep a promise because we’re human.
Your friends might forget your birthday, your parents might say one thing and do another, or your teachers might not keep their promises …
But the Bible says God” does not lie. He’s not human, so He does not change his mind.
Has He ever spoken and failed to act2 Has He ever promised and not carried it through?»
God always keeps His promises! So, you can always trust Him.
God promised that Jesus would come to save you and He did.
And He also promised to be with you every day and, without a doubt, He’s keeping that promise.
Jesus promised to return for us, and He will certainly come and take you to the New Earth.
In your Prayer Journal today, ask God to help you keep your promises like He does.
