“I will sing of Your power; Yes,
I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning;
for You have been my defense and refuge in the day of my trouble»
(Psalm 59: 16).
ACCORDING To a popular saying: All’s well that ends well.» In reality, I am not very sure that this is always true, but I am completely convinced that beginning the day by seeking God’s company is a one hundred percent effective way to have a good day.
Dave is a gift of life; nevertheless, for many women, waking up each morning becomes an undesirable nightmare. Before putting a foot out of their bed, they are already anticipating negative experiences and tend to get tired before they begin their tasks. The first thought a person has right after waking up in the morning is very important. Why? Because you are able to anticipate a panorama that may never appear.
A positive routine isn’t determined by how many things you do, but rather, in what spirit you do them. If your routine begins with positive thoughts, you will optimistically face the difficulties that come your way, which surely will not be devastating most of the days. On the contrary; if your routine begins with expectations of a negative nuance, any problem, no matter how small, will become something with no solution for you.
Here are some suggesting points to help you:
Point one: Begin your day well by having positive thoughts.
Point two: Be careful of an excessive eagerness for productivity. Doing many things does not define you as an efficient person; what makes you effective is to know how to establish priorities and acting accordingly. Don’t confuse diligence with perfectionism. Being diligent gives you satisfaction; on the other hand, perfectionism gives you exaggerated doses of anxiety and fatigue.
Every morning, allow natural light to enter into your bedroom and then in a simple prayer, thank God for His care during the night. Doing so will make your brain begin the day focusing on something as vital as the connection with God. Then, look in the mirror and recognize yourself as a daughter of God. Express your fears to the Lord, reaffirm your abilities, and don’t doubt that He is at your side.
Don’t forget to eat your first meal of the day in a peaceful atmosphere; your whole body will enjoy it.
Learn to know your capacity of energy and don’t submit yourself to heavy tasks that surpass it; ask for help when you can do no more.
