a. He sent Jesus to earth
b. He sent Jesus to die on the cross and resurrect
c. Both previous answers are correct
Have you ever felt you were in danger?
Perhaps you had a car accident or had to go through a hurricane or earthquake quake. But did you know there’s even greater danger?
Yes, we’re condemned to die forever because of sin. However, God did something to save us from death and give us everlasting life.
God created Adam and Eve so they would happily live forever on this earth. God created us with freedom to choose between good and evil.
As you know, they decided to disobey God by eating from the tree of which God had told them not to eat.
Disobeying God is a sin and the consequence of sin is death. Ever since our first parents disobeyed, every human being has kept on sinning, so we’re all condemned to die.
But God loves us so much that He can’t allow His children to die forever, so He thought of a plan to save us from death so we can live forever.
Do you know what that was? He sent His Son Jesus to come to this world as a baby, to live without sinning and in the end to die on the cross to pay the price for our disobedience.
God loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus to our planet to deliver us from the consequences of sin, that is, death.
What do you have to do in order to be saved? Nothing, Jesus has already done everything for you. If you believe in Jesus and accept His forgiveness, He offers you eternal life.
In your Prayer Journal, thank God today for His wonderful plan to save you!
