Do you know what the word “law» means?
According to the dictionary, «law” means” each one of the norms or precepts of obligatory fulfilment that an authority establishes to regulate, compel, or prohibit a thing.” There are laws to govern a country to drive around in a vehicle . . .
I’m sure that in your house there are also certain laws that must be respected so that the whole family is happier and there is order, right?
There are also laws that govern nature and the universe, so that the planets continue to rotate around the sun or that you can walk on the ground, without floating up in the air. Who do you think created all those laws that maintain order in the universe? God is the Creator of natural laws. But He has also established moral and Spiritual laws.
Since before the creation of our planet, because He’s a God of order.
In order for human beings not to forget His law, God had to write it on two stone tablets and transmit it through the Bible. You can read it in the book of Exodus, in chapter 20.
The law of God contains the Ten Commandments, which add two things together. loving God above all things and loving our neighbor as we love ourselves. just as your father and mother have rules so that there is order in your home and you’re happier, your Father God also gives you the Ten Commandments, His law, so that you’re happier.
Furthermore, it’s the law that helps us know whether we are obeying God or not. If you love God with all your heart and you love your friends as you love yourself, then you will obey
His commandments without realizing it.
Write the Ten Commandments in your Prayer Journal.
