Underline the correct answer
a. Heaven
b. The light.
c. The earth
Do you think that when night falls the sun hides and disappears?
If you can sit outside one evening, shortly before nightfall, you will observe that little by little the sun will hide until it disappears completely.
Well, you may think that it’s hiding, but it’s not. The sun is a giant star that shines, and it rotates constantly. It never hides or disappears.
What happens is the earth is moving at a constant speed, resolving around the sun and on its axis (spinning). That means that while the earth turns on itself, there is always a part that faces the sun and there it is day time; and another which gets the shade and there it is nighttime.
Therefore, when the sun is setting where you live, it’s rising on the other side of the earth. That’s why the time is different depending on the country or continent you’re in. That produces a day and night.
Consequently, we shouldn’t say that the sun hides or goes down, but rather that it’s night because the earth is spinning and it’s not facing the sun, but the darkness.
Just as the sun never hides and it always there next to us, although sometimes we don’t see it, so Jesus is always there. We are the ones who move toward Him or move from Him.
Jesus never hides or shuts off, never stops shining and lighting your ways.
Jesus defeated Satan.
Ask Jesus in your Prayer Journal to help to overcome evil as He did.
